The Nokia N97 Mini will be a wonderful addition to the Nokia range

The Nokia N97 Mini is a version of its namesake but is smaller. The handset measures 113 mm x 52 mm whilst being only 14 mm thick. It incorporates a huge number of features for such a compact phone, which includes a fold out full QWERTY keyboard.
This smart phone is one in a long line of phones brought out by Nokia, that offer excellent styling as well as being endowed with a wealth of functionality.

The Nokia N97 Mini offers a 5.0 megapixel camera which operates at 2592 x 1944 pixels resolution. The use of Carl Zeiss optics is testimony to Nokia's interest in producing quality images within a phone. Auto focus, dual LED as well as geo tagging are also included. Video recording and playback are included which are conducted at VGA quality and at 30 frames per second. The addition of a video light ensures sufficient illumination whilst a secondary camera is also integrated into the phone. A handy photo and video editor is included within the software of the phone to enable its user the ability to edit whilst on the move.

The HSDPA and Wi-Fi connections ensure internet access and use of available hot spots. GPRS, EDGE, Blue tooth and USB connections provide the ability to conduct file transfer and synchronization operations. GPS with A-GPS function and Nokia
maps provides navigation support. Entertainment is provided by the MP3/MP4 player which plays music and video files. The FM stereo radio ensures alternative options to listening to downloaded music.

The phone has a 3.2 inch TFT touch screen which offers the ability to display 16 million colours accurately. This ensures images are shown in excellent colour reproduction. A proximity sensor and accelerometer sensor provide the ability to
automatically shut down the unit and change the aspect of the images on display to their correct aspect whether landscape or portrait.

The N97 Mini uses the ARM 11 434 MHz processor and the Symbian OS v9.4, operating system as the backbone of its processing ability, both of which are reliable and more than adequate for the handsets needs. Additional tools included within the package are a document viewer, digital compass as well as flash lite 3 and a TV out. The phone is a comprehensive arrangement of functionality and style and offers an excellent mobile phone with plenty to keep the consumer amused.
