The Samsung D780 is a competent handset which offers dual SIM capabilities

The Samsung D780 offers simplicity and flexibility in equal measure. Its simplistic design empowers the user by means of ensuring that its multitude of functionality and features are able to be utilised simply. The handset measures 115 mm x 49 mm
whilst being 15 mm thick, it weighs 108 g and comes with a variety of functions whilst being eminently affordable.

A 2.1 inch TFT display screen is the central element of the handset. Its colourful and vibrant display is down to the fact that it is able to display up to 256,000 colours at a pixel screen size of 240 x 320 pixels. This ensures that imagery
displayed is faithfully reproduced from a colour point of view. The handset comes with vibration and ring alert types, with the added bonus of being able to add downloadable polyphonic and MP3 ringtones. The inclusion of a speakerphone further adds to the appeal of this handset by offering hands-free communication as and when required.

The handset comes with a 2 mega pixel camera which operates at a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels and also provides the alternative of video recording and playback if desired. In addition an MP3 and MP4 player are included as well as a stereo FM radio. The players will play all major audio and video file types whilst the radio offers regional and national radio station broadcasts at the touch of a button.

The Samsung D780 comes with GPRS, EDGE, Blue tooth and USB. This plethora of connectivity options ensures that the handset can be connected to a variety of devices as well as conduct numerous tasks whilst on the move.

In addition to the numerous aforementioned features the handset offers dual slim capabilities as well as a document viewer, to view Word, Excel and PowerPoint files as well as a voice memo facility as well as the inclusion of a mobile printing facility.

The Samsung D780, like the Samsung S5050, is a competent handset which offers a
plethora of functionality encased within a slim and light weight casing. Navigation around functionality is conducted by the usual five way navigation button, whilst the integrated keypad is effective for texting and data entry. All in all this handset offers excellent value for money.
