The HTC Touch Pro 2 offers QWERTY keyboard simplicity

The HTC Touch Pro 2 is a smart phone with a difference. It houses some of the latest technology into a stylish casing that also has a few surprises. A pull out QWERTY keyboard for one, is elegantly poised behind the screen and simply pulls out when
required for effective data entry. This is just one of the many attributes this handset has. The unit is a work horse in that its features enable the user to access a wide variety of services and perform a huge number of tasks whilst on the move.

The HTC Touch Pro 2 comes with an expansive 3.6 inch TFT display touch screen which displays over 65,000 colours within a pixel screen size of 480 x 800 pixels. The phone uses the TouchFlo 3D finger swipe navigation to access functionality. Whilst the touch sensitive zoom bar is an excellent addition and accentuates elements of the viewable image. The accelerometer sensor is a popular feature and amends the aspect of images automatically.

A Phone comes with a 3.15 megapixel camera which operates at a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. To aid in taking good quality photos the camera provides auto focus. Video recording and playback is available and is VGA quality. For those who partake
in video calls, the inclusion of a secondary camera will be welcome news. The phones internal memory is 288 Mb RAM.

HSDPA and Wi-Fi offers web surfing capability with speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps possible, as well as the ability to tap into the network of nationally available hot spots. Other connectivity options include GPRS, EDGE, Blue tooth and miniUSB. This
multiple means of connectivity allows the phone to conduct numerous tasks including file sharing and synchronisation. The GPS with A-GPS function ensures that the important satellite navigation is available when required.

The phone also provides a whole host of additional features and functions such as hand writing recognition, an MP3 player and FM radio, as well as cut down pocket versions of Pocket office. A voice memo recorder offers the ability to take vocal recordings and notes.

The HTC Touch Pro 2 is a comprehensive handset which uses the Qualcomm MSM7200A 528 MHz processor for its processing and Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional as its operating system. These are well known and stable components which work well together to provide, with the host of functions, a more than capable mobile phone.
